Charlotte Marie Johnson, known lovingly to many as "Char," passed away on June 1, 2026, in Tucson, the city where she was born on September 11, 1985. Her journey through life was marked by resilience, love, and an unyielding spirit that touched everyone who knew her.

Charlotte graduated from Palo Verde High School in 2003, an achievement she balanced with her participation in the Teenage Parent Program (TAPP) that same year. These milestones reflected her determination and commitment to create a better life for herself and her family from an early age.

Her career at Yokohama was more than just a job—it was a place where her vibrant personality shone. Char loved making her customers laugh, smile, and feel welcomed. Her loud laugh, a signature trait recognized by all, was a beacon of warmth and joy, alongside her kindness and her fearless, candid nature. She never hesitated to speak her mind, a testament to her strength and authenticity.

Charlotte's heart belonged to her children—Rochelle, Harmony, Kadence, and Avyanna. She lived for them, and through every hardship life threw her way, she pushed forward with unwavering courage. Despite facing rough times, she emerged with a profound lesson not to judge others, carrying a compassion that was as deep as it was sincere.

Beyond her role as a mother, Charlotte loved the simple pleasures in life: spending time watching movies, going out to eat, and shopping—all moments she treasured with her kids by her side. Charlotte is survived by her beloved children, her devoted mother Thelma Smith, her grandson Kendrick, and her brother Chris Johnson. Their lives have been forever enriched by her presence, laughter, and love. She also leaves behind the memories of her father, Jeffrey Johnson, and her grandmother, Marilyn Gordon, who preceded her in death.
