Listen to Obituary

It is with profound sadness and respectful remembrance that we share the passing of Christina Marie Steiner (née Jones), lovingly known as Chrissy to those closest to her. Christina was born on November 13, 1980, in Marion, Ohio, and she left this world suddenly at her home in Tucson on July 17, 2026.

Christina’s life was one defined by love, warmth, and a deep sense of devotion to her family. She was the cherished wife of David Steiner, whose partnership and friendship were a cornerstone of her life. As a devoted mother, Christina’s greatest joy was found in the laughter and accomplishments of her children: Erin Pressley, Ray Douglas, Emily Jones, Brandon Jones, and Alex Steiner. Her nurturing spirit and unwavering support guided them through every stage of life, instilling values of kindness, strength, and integrity.

Christina was the beloved daughter of Mary Basham, and step father Bernie Basham with whom she shared a close and enduring bond. She was preceded in death by her father, Jim Jones, whose memory she held dear throughout her life.

From her earliest days in Marion, Ohio, Christina delighted those around her with her compassion and radiant spirit. Though circumstances led her to make a home in Tucson, she carried her Midwestern roots with immense pride and gratitude. Her sudden passing leaves an irreplaceable void in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Christina’s life reminds us of the quiet power of unconditional love, resilience in the face of adversity, and the enduring legacy of a kind heart. Her memory will live on in her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family and all who cherished her presence.
