Jason Richard Price

Jason “Jay” Richard Price was born April 20, 1972, in Independence, Iowa to David J. and Linda L. Price. He passed away April 4, 2025, in Tucson, Arizona.

Jay attended Independence, Iowa public schools until moving to Tucson. He graduated from Palo Verde High School. Jay was Honorably Discharged from the U. S. Navy in 1991. Jay attended the University of Arizona in Tucson studying film, and attended the University of Iowa in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Though he lived most of his life in Tucson, Jay never forgot his happy early childhood in Iowa.

Jay was an avid movie and film lover. He had favorite actors and favorite directors. He was kind and thoughtful man, always willing to help anyone in need. Jay was especially talented at repairing things, most of all electronics and computers. He would complete his projects with the utmost care.

He was preceded in death by his father, David J. Price; stepfather, Mark S. Blanc; two cousins, Brian Price and Kenny Brockling; and many aunts and uncles.

Jay is survived by his mother, Linda L. Blanc; sister, Dawn (John) Daniel; three half-sisters, Joann Price, Teresa Price and Barbara Platt; a half-brother, John Price: and several nieces and nephews.
