Joe Figueroa

Joe Figueroa was born March 21, 1946 in Tucson, Arizona to Juan Lopez and Helen (Estrada) Figueroa. He passed away peacefully June 11, 2025, in his hometown. He spent the beginning of his life growing up on a ranch in Vail, Arizona. Joe attended grade school in Tucson, went to Pueblo High and then graduated from the UofA with his Masters in 1966. After completing his education Joe joined the Air Force and once discharged he spent many years volunteering at the VA Hospital.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Helen Figueroa, as well as his brothers, Johnny and Ramon Figueroa.

He is survived by his sister, Marcella Gutierrez, and nieces and nephews.
