Mr. Joe Ramos, 80, departed from this world on April 30th, 2026 peacefully in his home surrounded by family and love. He was the Husband of Sharron Kujawski-Ramos. They shared 32 years together, a life time of joys, trials and blessings.
He was born in the town of Globe Arizona, the first son of Martin Salas Ramos and Annie Ortega Martinez. He graduated in 1964 from Hayden High School where he held records for the mile and played varsity in basketball and football. After graduating he went and serviced our country as a proud Air Force Man and Vietnam Veteran. When he was released he got his degree to become an Electrician. He accomplished becoming a Lineman and full service Handyman until his retirement.
He attended Living Word Chapel in Oracle, Arizona and knew his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. His hobbies were fixing up his home, watching the news and his westerns, playing and talking to his grand/great grandkids, but most importantly helping anyone who needed the help. He was a provider, protector, a father figure to many and will always be remembered as the one you could call on anytime. Joe left his impression on everyone he meet in his lifetime, his gift from God.
He is survived by his wife, Sharron Kujawski-Ramos; his sons, Joseph Ramos (Jennifer) and Christopher Abril (Tiki); his daughters, Cindie Souza, Jodie Raymond (Brian), Maleigha Linebarger (Alex), Dionne Ortega (Jose) and Sally Ortega (Ryan); his brothers, Easy Ramos (Tracey), Rudy Verdugo (Alma) and Bobby Ramos; his sisters, Loly Medina, Becky Bayze and Pasty Miranda (Manuel); his sister-in-law, Belinda Licano (Paul) and his son-in-law, Eric Varela. Along with their 32 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren with one on the way. He is preceded in death by his mother, Annie Martinez and father, Martin Ramos, his daughter, Kellie Varela, his brothers, Billy and Tony Ramos, his brother-in-laws, Alfred Bayze and Armondo Medina and sister-in-law, Mary Canisales as well as many Tio’s, Tia’s, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the healthcare professionals who compassionately supported and made Joe comfortable during his final days.
Our father’s legacy lives on through the countless lives he touched along his lifetime of loving, helping others, and will be dearly missed until we meet again. We love you always dad!
