Kathryn McManamon passed away October 29, 2024 in Tucson, Arizona surrounded by family. She was born April 11, 1946 in Butte, Montana to James and Elizabeth (Kirkpatrick) Sullivan.
Her passion for the outdoors fueled her love of the mountains and camping. She adored spending time in Colorado and Montana visiting the Colorado Rocky Mountains, Grand Tetons, Yellowstone National Park and both Flathead and Glacier Lakes. Often she would roadtrip her way to new locations, ending her days with a beautiful sunset, beer in hand and a dog at her side.
Colorado was her team state. Kathryn was an avid Denver Broncos fan but also made sure she made it to Colorado Avalanche hockey and Rockies Baseball games. She was an avid coach for the special Olympics over many years. However getting dressed up and going out in the evening was a great joy to her as well.
Family was very important to Kathryn. When she traveled to Montana she would be sure to visit and spend time with family there. She loved to host get togethers and bake and cook with friends and family by her side.
Kathryn shone brightly and her light will be missed.
Survived by her husband, David: her sons, Dan , David and wife, Rebecca Lee; grandkids, Andrew Lee, Katelyn Lee and Natalie Schra.
