Listen to Obituary

Michael was beloved by friends and family alike. A dog lover, horror movie enthusiast, and rock and roll fanatic. He never met a challenge he wasn’t willing to face head on, no matter the outcome. A very prideful man, that tried his best to provide for his family and friends. His charisma would fill a room, always the life of the party.

As an avid reader, he was always in search of a new book to get lost in. He enjoyed spending time walking dogs at the local dog rescue in Casa Grande, Arizona. Known as a “jack of all trades,” he was extremely knowledgeable in many different fields. With experience owning a small painting business early in life, to working facilities maintenance for various companies, he was a wonderful teacher for many of life’s important daily tasks. Always looking to learn something new, he was able to provide many unforgettable memories in life. His life experience hitchhiking across the country and living on various air force bases goes unmatched by many. From camping trips to watching the most obscure movies known to man, he was truly one of a kind.

He will be dearly missed by friends and family. May he rest peacefully and pain free with those that have been lost previously. Survived by his wife Diana (Dunick) for nearly 53yrs; son, Mason of AZ; brother, Christopher, and sister-in-law, Patricia Cummins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clinton O. Cummins; brother, Clinton (Hurk), and mother, Mary Rose (Ryberg).

A Celebration of Life will be forthcoming in Ohio, Spring of 2026.
