Michelle Leigh Turner

Our beloved daughter, Michelle, passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2026, after an unexpected diagnosis of late stage cancer. She was 58 years old. She brought joy to all who knew her. She was a lifelong nurse who deeply loved and cared for her fellow nurses and patients. She loved meeting new people as a traveling nurse and met many of her dear friends through her vocation. While we celebrate her life and mourn this terrible loss, we wanted to let all of her friends know.

Michelle was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Hawkins Turner. She is survived by her brother, Greg Turner, her father, Ronald Turner, and step mother, Linda Turner.

A special thank you to Banner Hospital in Tucson, AZ for the wonderful care and compassion they showed to Michelle and the family. At the family's request, there will be no service at this time. She was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky.
