Thomas Norman “Tom” Curtin was born in the Chicagoland area on October 28, 1959, to Diane J. O’Krongley, née White (formerly Curtin), and Lawrence Joseph Curtin, both of whom preceded him in death. He is survived by his stepfather, Walter D. O’Krongley. Tom passed away on September 24, 2026.

Tom spent his life in the construction trade and was involved with the VA. His love for Christ was well known. Personable, charming, and kind-hearted, Tommy could strike up a conversation with anyone.

He is lovingly remembered by his daughters, Tina Marie (Dustin) Curtin Wampler and Kimberly Ann Martinez; his siblings, Peggy Curtin Malone, Lawrence Curtin Jr., and Christine (John) Dudash; his five step-siblings, Philip Okrongley, Mary (Roy) Nelson, Sandra (Jeff) Cross, Kathy Okrongley, and Melissa Okrongley; his seven grandchildren, MaKayla, Joseph, Paul, Katiya, Nicholas, Natalia, and Lili; and his three great-grandchildren, Atlas, Kai Marie, and Luka.

Tom has moved on to eternal life - and his love and memory will live on in the hearts of the family and friends he cherished.

Revelation 21:4 — "He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away."
