Thomas Algeria Trujillo, born on July 4, 1955, in Hanford, California, passed on November 28, 2023. He was the beloved son of Joe Trujillo Sr. and Catalina Alegria. Thomas spent the majority of his life in Tucson, Arizona, where he touched the hearts of many.
Throughout his life, Thomas was a skilled locksmith, dedicating his talents to helping others. He was a man of unwavering faith, a devoted child of God, and a source of inspiration to those who knew him. Thomas bravely fought and survived cancer, demonstrating his remarkable strength and resilience.
Among his passions, he had a deep love for sports, enjoyed spending quality time with cherished friends and family, and found solace in reading the Good Word daily.
Thomas is survived by his loving children, Melissa (Eduardo) Costa, Vanessa (Josh) Trujillo-Tenbrink, and Thomas Jr. (Alejandra) Trujillo, who meant the world to him. He also leaves behind eight adoring grandchildren: Sophia, Mateo, Alicea, Josephina, Leonardo, Elisangela, Alejandro, and Amadeau. Thomas is fondly remembered by his sisters, Gloria (Richard) Molina, Eva, Emy (Ron) Medrano, Mary Ann, Mary Helen, his brothers Charles (Francis) Trujillo, Jesse (Karen) Trujillo and his brother in Christ and best friend, Warren Saunders.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Joe Trujillo Jr., and his sister Katita Trujillo. He also joined in eternal rest with his brother-in-laws Esaya Gonzalez, Frank Escobedo, and Michael Young.
A Graveside Service to celebrate Thomas's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on on Monday, December 11, 2023 at Tubac Family Owned Cemetery, 39-51 Burruel St., Tubac, AZ 85646.
In lieu of flowers, a fund has been established through GoFundMe to assist with funeral expenses, ensuring that Thomas's memory lives on through the love and support of those who cared for him.
