Maricela Isabel Nido, affectionately known as Mari, was born on August 11, 2001, in Lawton, Oklahoma. She moved with her family to Tucson, Arizona, at the age of 15, where she attended Amphi High School. Betty De La Rosa Perez died September 22, 2025 in Tucson, Arizona, she was 87 years old. Betty was born July 4, 1938 in Tucson to Segino De La Rosa and Margarita Arena. 

She is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Carlos Perez; daughter, Delia Tellez; and 13 siblings.

Nayela Mackenzie Roush was an artist, visionary, philosopher, airplane mechanic, student pilot, boxer, film enthusiast, and avid hiker–she frequented Pusch Peak, Picacho Peak, and Romero Canyon. She loved her two silly guinea pigs.
